Bio

Adam Verstandig is a Partner at Norm Law in the Real Estate group. Adam's practice focuses on representing financial institutions in real estate finance and development, with an emphasis on construction lending, credit enhancement of tax-exempt and taxable bonds and the use of various types of tax credits for the financing of multifamily housing. His practice also encompasses secured single-lender and syndicated credit facilities, mezzanine loans, workouts, restructurings, and the representation of private equity investors in the formation and operation of joint ventures.

Most recently, Adam was a Partner at Sidley Austin LLP in New York. His clients have included major global investment banks and financial institutions. His transaction experience spans a wide range of complex financings across New York City and beyond, including mixed-use residential developments, public-private partnerships, opportunity zone projects, and sale-leaseback transactions.
