Bio

Ben is a member of the Norm Law Legal AI Committee and the Norm Ai Regulatory Advisory Board, and plans to join Norm Law as an Attorney.

From 2011 to 2015, Ben Lawsky was New York State's Superintendent of Financial Services, overseeing more than 3,800 entities with assets exceeding $7 trillion and leading an agency of 1,400 employees. He co-chaired the New York State Cyber Security Advisory Board, and represented the U.S. on the Joint Forum of international financial regulators.

Previously, Lawsky held senior roles at the New York Attorney General's office, served as a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York focusing on white-collar and terrorism cases, and began his career as Chief Counsel to Senator Charles Schumer.
