James Gerkis is a Partner at Norm Law in the Corporate Transactions practice group. James has deep experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, capital markets, venture capital, media, and real estate. His clients have included financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth businesses spanning the technology, media, health care, and real estate sectors.
Prior to joining Norm Law, James was a Partner in the Corporate Department at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York, where he built a wide-ranging transactional practice over several decades. He is a frequent speaker at industry and bar association conferences and has written extensively on legal topics throughout his career.
