Nicolas Dumont is Partner and Head of Public Company Advisory at Norm Law.
For nearly 20 years, he has regularly advised domestic and foreign companies on general corporate matters, public company corporate governance issues, SEC reporting and disclosure compliance, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) regulation, and stock exchange rules of the major US exchanges. His industry experience includes banking, insurance, tech, life sciences, crypto, shipping and natural resources. He has often worked in the alternative data space, at the intersection of capital markets regulation, data monetization and controls, public company reporting, and related governance and corporate systemic risk.
His transactional experience is extensive, and encompasses both venture-backed and private equity-backed initial public offerings (IPOs), special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), common and preferred stock issuances, at-the-market offerings, private placements and rights offerings, senior, subordinated and convertible debt offerings (including non dollar-denominated debt), securities issued by banks, hybrid and derivative instruments, PIPE offerings, tender offers, consent solicitations and exchange offers.
He is a graduate of Princeton University (summa cum laude), Stanford Law School and Sciences-Po (Paris).
