Sam Lipson

Sam Lipson is a Partner and Co-Head of Emerging Companies and Venture Capital at Norm Law. Sam advises venture fund managers and high-growth companies across the technology sector. He represents clients through the full lifecycle, from fund formation and company launch to financings, strategic transactions, acquisitions and exits. Most recently, Sam served as a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Before that, he served as Managing Director and General Counsel of a family office focused on early-stage technology investments and emerging venture fund managers. Sam has firsthand experience as both the lawyer and the client, which allows him to listen, advise and show up for the founders and funds who count on him. Earlier in his career, he was an emerging companies attorney at leading law firms serving innovative companies and their investors.
