Biography

Troy Paredes is the Head of Capital Markets Strategy at Norm Ai and serves on both the Norm Law Legal AI Committee and the Norm Ai Regulatory Advisory Board. 

He was an SEC Commissioner from 2008 to 2013, appointed by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Before the SEC, Troy was a Professor of Law at Washington University in St. Louis and a Professor of Business (by courtesy) at Washington University’s Olin Business School, following his earlier practice as a corporate lawyer. He has authored numerous articles on on financial regulation, corporate governance, innovation, behavioral economics, and administrative agencies.
